Heads Weekly Update 15th December

Heads Weekly Update 15th December

Dear Parents,

The Christmas period is always a particularly busy one in schools and so I’d have to write a fairly significant weekly email to encompass all that has gone on. Suffice to say that I am grateful for the efforts of the staff at Arnold Lodge for their hard work over the past term to create the wonderful school for children that ALS is. I’d like to thank you, too, for being a part of our school community. A school ethos is about so much more than what the Headteacher say it is; the ethos is what happens every minute of every day across the school including what happens at ALPA Christmas Fayres, School BBQs or Celebration assemblies. Thank you.

The Carol Service is the final part of this term and it was, as always, a pleasure to be part of. If you were able to attend, I am hopeful that you enjoyed it. If not, do please come along next year – it really is a lovely event. I am hopeful that you, and your family, have a wonderful Christmas period and a relaxing New Year. I’ll be in touch before the start of the new term with information and upcoming events.

I look forward to welcoming a number of new pupils to Arnold Lodge in January and to see all of our current pupils refreshed and ready to learn.

Have a wonderful holiday period.

Best wishes,
